RESPONSIBILITIES:
The HR Manager position serves as the "Face of HR" to our associates and
managers and acts as a human resources generalist within assigned
facilities. In addition to ensuring compliance with federal, state
and local laws and regulations, this position is responsible for the
execution of HR initiatives at the facility level, investigating and
resolving associate complaints and conflicts, and the administration
of collective bargaining agreements. This position is also responsible
for building employee relations capability and enabling management
effectiveness through the execution of proactive employee relations
initiatives and the delivery of targeted training programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Human Resources or related degree preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of exempt-level human resources
experience or equivalent managerial experience required.
• Five (5) or more years of exempt-level human resources experience
preferred.
• Previous consumer products experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous union avoidance experience preferred.
• Previous experience working in a unionized environment preferred.
• PHR / SPHR Certification preferred.
